here’s something I found on the Internet. A short review after the World Premiere of “22:43″ at the Anchorage International Film Festival 2010:

“The opening credits of 22:43 already had me sucked in as I tried to figure out exactly what I was seeing, but I liked the stuttering of the image. As the film began I was surprised at how clear the German was for an Austrian film. (OK I know they speak spectacular German in the Burgtheater, but I also know the Viennese can speak an unintelligible language of their own.)
22:43 worked despite a complicated set of plots and sub plots, despite the supernatural element, and despite the background airplane trip metaphor which made sense at the end.  Lots of stuff was happening, but even with subtitles, everyone I spoke to was able to follow pretty well.  (There’s one woman on the video who needed help after it was over, but she said she’d see it again.)  It helped that Max, Hannah, and Chris were all appealing characters.  And the dog (I can’t remember his name and the 22:43 website doesn’t list him on the cast page) helped too.
I think it’s still too early for me to write too much.  Some things are only now beginning to filter through and make sense.”

By the Way: “22:43″ won the SILVER PALM AWARD at the Mexcio International Film Festival in the Feature Film Competition!!! Dancing with ourselves!!!

JURY-COMMENT CROSSROADS FILM FESTIVAL 2011 (April 1st-3rd):

“I liked this film.  I wanted to give the film a 7.5 but rounded up to 8.  Given I don’t speak German, I had to rely on the subtitles which didn’t seem to be perfectly translated to what the dialogue truly was.  I still enjoyed the writing but feel like the actual dialogue may have been even better.  Given the budget, I thought the film looked great and it was very well acted.  I really liked Max and Chris’s performances and know the film would have looked very sharp if I wasn’t streaming it in low res through IMDB.  I think the acting is also a credit to the direction and script.  Smart, message film that leaves you thinking.  Made me think of Chris Nolan, back to Memento and even Inception a bit where we are taken all over and back again only to make of the film whatever we feel.  Overall, good film.”

This saturday, April 2nd, “22:43″ is gonna rock the CROSSROADS FILM FESTIVAL (in competition) in Jackson, Mississippi!

In June “22:43″ will be presented at the PUERTO RICO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (in competition)!

And last but not least back to the USA in August to the NEW YORK CITY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (Nominated for BEST PICTURE, BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY, BEST SCORE and BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE)!

am 20. Januar 2011 ist es soweit: “22:43″ wird im Rahmen des 32. Filmfestivals Max Ophüls Preis 2011 seine Europapremiere feiern. Das Team tanzt! 6 würdige Vertreter werden den Film so gut wie möglich in Saarbrücken präsentieren… Eine schwere Last, die es zu meistern gilt. Aber mit den zwei wunderbaren Darstellern Martin Loos und Anton Nouri sehe ich da überhaupt keine Probleme.
