JURY-COMMENT CROSSROADS FILM FESTIVAL 2011:
“I liked this film. I wanted to give the film a 7.5 but rounded up to 8. Given I don’t speak German, I had to rely on the subtitles which didn’t seem to be perfectly translated to what the dialogue truly was. I still enjoyed the writing but feel like the actual dialogue may have been even better. Given the budget, I thought the film looked great and it was very well acted. I really liked Max and Chris’s performances and know the film would have looked very sharp if I wasn’t streaming it in low res through IMDB. I think the acting is also a credit to the direction and script. Smart, message film that leaves you thinking. Made me think of Chris Nolan, back to Memento and even Inception a bit where we are taken all over and back again only to make of the film whatever we feel. Overall, good film.”
